There are a lot of great guys and gals serving in uniform at home and around the world, in a host of ways and endeavors.
While commemorating the sacrifices of those brave souls who have gone to their sound rest in the name of this republic, may all of those serving under arms and their families know peace and safety this holiday and into the future.

It is the Soldier not the reporter who has given us Freedom of the press.

it is the soldier not the lawyer who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the soldier not the politician who has given us the right to vote
It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves under the flag whose coffin is draped in the flag
Who allows protestors to burn the flag."
