Corzine: My way, hock the highway

''Political capital, unused is irrelevant. " ~ Jon Corzine, NY Times May 30, 2000

"I'm willing to lose my job if that's necessary to set our fiscal house in order." ~ Jon Corzine, NJ League of Municipalities, November 15, 2007

Translation: Corzine knows best. If he can, he will force his will upon us, whether we like it or not.

Rob Tornoe has a great cartoon on the matter

New Jersey is undergoing drastic problems created by poor historical fiscal decisions and current knee-jerk reactions to solve systemic problems. Selling assets to pay current expenses is poor policy. We need to ensure that all have a voice at the table and are allowed to participate and determine the direction of the future. Gov Corzine I'm imploring you to give the voters of this state some say in this matter.
