Should I run against Frank Pallone?

I just got a phone call from a member of the Monmouth GOP Board of Directors asking if I would consider running against Frank Pallone.

I played the message back for my employees and they went on and on about how what a great guy Pallone is.

It's nice to be loved.

The only way you could beat Pallone was if he died. Coincidentally that's the only way you would see Lautenberg and Corzine in a room toghter

the district's voter registration is against you, but running would give you a nice platform for all the issues you care about.

great idea #567: you should totally base your decision to run on the reader's poll you put up.

Mrs. Seward said no.

Run Art, Run!

Look, the odds of beating Pallone are 1 in a million, but at least you can make sure he actually has to do some campaigning or debating.

And if I change my voter registration to my off-campus ampartment that I'm thinking about doing since I don't like voting absentee anymore, you'd have my vote!

A pretty smart blogger once told me it would take 2 mil and 2 cycles to unseat another local incumbent.

Are you ready for that?

Based on Mrs. Seward's comment, it seems you may have the same issue I do.

But Good Luck either way.

I voted yes in the poll, but I guess Mrs. Seward trumps all.

What really surprises me is that this thread is generating more comments than the "Should Joe Kryillos run for US Senate" thread.

I would donate to that campaign.

Your employees are an example of what is wrong with the world. They do not say they agree with him on the issuess (they probably do not even know) just that he us a nice guy.

Sounds like running for High school class president.
