Corzine to Wilson: "Thanks, but no thanks."

Wilson:

“ There is an issue here larger than partisan politics, frankly even larger than executive privilege and it’s the public’s right to know whether Jon Corzine’s relationship with Carla Katz had any improper influence on him during the contract negotiations. Judge Innes’ decision had nothing to do with partisan politics and to suggest so is an insult to the court and to the common sense of anyone who knows a smokescreen when they see one. I took the Governor at his word when he said his desire to keep secret his backchannel communications with Carla Katz wasn’t about the content, but about the principle. I gave Jon Corzine a way to provide the content and protect the principle and instead of opting for transparency, he launched another smokescreen. For someone who says he has nothing at all to hide, Jon Corzine continues to work overtime hiding all that nothing.”
