GOP Senate Debate

The comments section of the "That's why we have campaigns" post has turned into a debate of sorts between supporters of the three GOP candidates. Check it out.

Additionally, the post prompted Zimmer campaign manager, Mark Duffy, to contact me with an offer to answer any questions I have. I submitted the following questions:

1) Where does Zimmer stand now on partial birth abortion? Tell me how he came to his current position.

2) If a Democrat is elected President and Zimmer is a minority Senator, where would he stand if the Democratic President nominated a Supreme Court Justice with a similar philosophy as Ruth Bader Ginsberg? Would he work with conservative Senators to block such an appointment?

3) Which current Republican Senator is closer to Zimmer's overall philosophy? Lindsay Graham or Arlen Spector?

4) How much revenue did Zimmer's farm generate last year?

Mark promised to get back to me today. I will post the responses.

Here's a couple more to answer Mark:

Over the last twenty years how many billions of dollars did the state of new jersey taxpayers doll out because of Dick Zimmer's DECIDING vote to raise the sales tax, just like Corzine did?

Over the last twenty years how many BILLIONS of dollars did the state of new jersey taxpayers have to pay because they were no longer able to deduct property taxes off their state income tax because of DICK ZIMMER's deciding vote, which increase income taxes just like McGreevey did?

If some medical expert came up with a good argument of why partial birth abortion was necessary would that change your position on infanticide, or would you continue to have the SAME POSITION on abortion as Barak Obama?

And last but not least, and to quote Bob Torricelli from 1996, "who ate the sheep on your tax-dodging farm" while you were living and working as a big-oil lobbyist in Wasington D.C. the last five years?

PS. Dick, it's probably a good idea to change the mailing address on your voter registration form to New Jersey from Washington DC PRIOR to running for US Senate. Doesn't look good.
