The History of Monmouth GOP Chairs since the 1960's

A good read from Honest Abe.

Basically showing the importance of having tried and true people in the job, not rank amateurs.

Abe,

Great history lesson, especially for those of us not around in the 70's. I don't think I'd blame the factions on Dowd as is implied in your post. He was put in a position to make a decision and he did. The people who didn't get what they wanted were the ones who became divisive. Unity at the price of not making decisions in fear of offending people is just as bad as "my way or the highway."

The idea of getting rid of Stominski wasn't bad, just the execution.

Thanks for the great post.
