July 31 Gala Will Pay Tribute to Republican Activist, Fundraiser MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Lew Eisenberg, Rumson, a long-time activist, fund raiser and GOP advisor in the state and national Republican Party, will be honored by the Monmouth County Republican Committee at its annual Gala July 31, announced Joseph Oxley, Chairman of the Monmouth County Republican Committee.
Eisenberg was recently named the Victory Finance Chairman for the Republican National Committee (RNC) and, as such, will be a leader in the 2008 Presidential election. He is a former RNC Finance Chairman and served as a Co-Chair of the 2004 Republican National Convention. From 1995 to 2002, Eisenberg was Chairman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He is a former partner at Goldman-Sachs and founder of Granite Financial International.
Gala Chairman and former State Senator Tom Gagliano said it was fitting for the Monmouth County Republicans to honor Eisenberg who lives in Rumson.
"Lew Eisenberg has played a vital role in the election of Republican candidates throughout the country," said Senator Gagliano. "The Monmouth County Republicans are pleased to honor this Monmouth County resident who has done so much to promote our Republican ideals."
Monmouth County Republican Chairman Oxley echoed Gagliano's praise of Eisenberg's efforts.
"Lew Eisenberg has demonstrated a commitment to the Republican Party that is unmatched," Oxley said. "This is a tremendous opportunity for Republicans to honor him for all the great work he has done on behalf of our Party."
The 53rd Annual Gala will be held on July 31 at Navesink Country Club. Tickets for the event are $300. For more information contact 732-747-1600.
