It seems the lefty mainstream media is coming down with a case of buyers remorse now that Barack Obama is proving to be a typical Chicago politician.

Yesterday the New York Times published an editorial, New and Not Improved, bemoaning Obama's new positions on gun control, public campaign financing, FISA, the death penalty and faith based initiatives. The Times failed to call Obama on his flip flop flipback on Iraq that occured within hours this week.

The fools in the lefty media got what they deserve. If the NY Times and its ilk had been publishing All The News That's Fit To Print and truly vetted Obama, there is no way he would have won the nomination. He would not even had won Iowa had the Reverend Wright story hit the airwaves in December or January. The story was out there. The lefties sat on it.

The national polls show the McCain/Obama race very close now. Come November, Obama will join George McGovern and Mike Dukakis in the Lefty Losers Hall of Fame.
