I met Mike at the Middletown Township Committee meeting last night. He doesn't seem to be the narrow minded pinhead partisan that his blog often makes him out to be.

I am a good guy and It was also nice to finally meet you. As I have mentioned to you before, I am sure that in the future there will be more then likely,issues that we agree on more than disagree. The way that the race discussion developed and has evolved however, is not one of them. I still do not agree with most of your thinking or actions around your posts.
I can appreciate that Mike. But guess what, we're still talking about it three weeks later.
As Obama implied, we need to come out of our comfortable corners.
It took Wright's inflamations to get Obama to address race. It is such a hot topic with such deep history that unfortunately it takes an upset to get people to talk about it, at least from what I've been able to observe.
Several people, you included have harped on how we got started. That is not unexpected. You've taken the first step to actually start addressing the issue. Thanks and please keep it up.
