Roberts Rules are a guide for parliamentary procedure when a organization meets. They were designed to facilitate the orderly conduct of meetings. They are not the law of the land and they are irrelevant unless the organization adopts them.

We need to be more concerned about Joe Robert's rules, the ones that are designed to turn Monmouth County into a urban wasteland like Hillside, the Union County neighbor of Elizabeth and Newark that Whatshisname's running mate, Pat Walsh, says Middletown should emulate.

Anyone who has lived in Middletown for any length of time can remember when the Democrats last held a majority. The town was in a shambles, zoning rules were a joke and even the APP had a headline about Middletown's government, "A House in Disorder." The two jokers running for town council on the Democrat ticket follow in the long line of whack jobs such as Larry Loigman, Irv Beaver, Alex Deceive-o, and Pat Short.
What about the jokers on the other ticket and some of the serving jokers...sore losers if ever there are any !!!! Can't seem to govern....too busy crying in their crying towels. These last three years have been disgraceful under this republican majority .All the republicans have done is whine about losing...The people are voting to accomplish change in this ridiculous situation.
