Pumped!

With the parking lot full and a line to get in that extended outside the building past the elephants, approximately 200 enthusiastic Monmouth County Republicans gathered at a McCain/Palin rally at the Lincroft Inn in Middletown.

The event was first announced yesterday.

The crowd was overwhelmingly enthused by the McCain/Palin ticket and the results of the Republican National Convention. Monmouth County McCain coordinator Christine Hanlon and the NJ McCain/Palin staff did a great job putting the event together so quickly.

Middletown Township Committee candidate Tony Fiore welcomed everyone to Middletown and received a standing ovation. Fiore and his running mate, Deputy Mayor Pam Brightbill have already started their door to door campaign. They are well on their way to visiting the 20,000 homes they plan on.

Other speakers included Chairman Joe Oxley, the Senator Sean Kean and Assemblywoman Mary Pat Angelini of the 11th legislative district, Senator Jennifer Beck, Assemblywoman Caroline Casagrande, Assemblyman Declan O'Scanlon of the 12th, and 12th congressional district candidate Alan Bateman.

Senator Jennifer Beck told MoreMonmouthMusings that the Rasta like allegations raised on Politickernj are completely false.

No one present could name a place in New Jersey where Democrats are governing better than Republicans are in Middletown and Monmouth County.

It was very gratifying to meet so many MoreMonmouthMusings readers for the first time.
