Is so, why didn't she simply say so?
Barry Goldwater reports that blogger "MouthpieceMike" says she did.
I'd rather see the documentation.
Goldwater also has a nifty counter on his blog that shows how long it has been since Walsh took the money.

Even if she did years later, which seems doubtful, it does not relieve her of the responsibility to report it on her ethics form at the time she took the tens of thoudans of dollars. It would seem hard to believe that somebody under so much financial pressure would forget receiving such a large sum, or that receiving such a large sum might not cloud her judgement in issues regarding those who gave the money. Clearly it should have been reported on her ethics form and she should have excused herself from voting and discussion on any and all matters related to the givers.
sorry, it wasn't $30,000 ... Walsh's attorney admitted at a school ethics hearing that it was about "$90,000"
the money was from an individual who just also happened to be suing the school board at the time, Walsh never told her fellow board members and never reported this on her financial disclosure statement.
oh, about the "loan", under oath the one who gave her this money testified that there was "no written loan agreement" and there was "no interest charged".
By the way, Walsh used this money to pay her personal legal fees (no political campaign committee)
Ask for the cancelled checks if she "claims" to have paid that amount back!
if it turns out that the facts of Walsh taking all that money are the truth, and Walsh said it was a"lie", then Walsh must resign from the BOE and end her campaign.
perhaps she should join some other politicians at a nice "resort" where she'll get 3 squares a day. They don't make you break rocks anymore ...
Anyone catch how walsh is trying to threaten the recall petitioners with lawsuit in the APP this morning? Typical pat walsh response to try to silence the public. Maybe she'll get another $30k from the sullivan's for her legal defense as the result of more false charges she files.
