I was hoping she would confidently laugh at us.
"Those loans were paid off years ago. My disclosure reports and tax returns were amended as soon as I realized my errors of omission. Here's the proof. If this is all you have, I look forward to being elected and serving the people of Middletown on the Township Committee." That is the reaction I was hoping for from Pat Walsh.
Instead, she dodged and attacked. She called Mayor Scharfenberger and JJ Sullivan liars, but offered no retort to the hard evidence presented. She said we didn't give her enough time to respond. She had all weekend to respond, and this is all she can say.
Calling JJ an irresponsible journalist. How so, Pat?
"Liar liar pants on fire!" Is that all you have to say?

How is this a lie? There is a ton of hard evidence!! Art- I couldn't agree with you more. Something stinks here.
This is the response you should expect from someone who has a long history of deceit, underhanded dealings and politically self-serving maneuvering. Maybe Chris Christie can get to the bottom of it.
She is still trying to conceal her 30k gift.
All quiet on the Democratic front...
Middletown Moo on his blog is reporting that he has been told that the Walsh family paid back the loan 10 years ago (hard to pay it back 10 years ago when it was given 9 years ago but who's counting). Show us the checks that were paid back plain and simple!
It won't happen because it wasn't paid back. Looks to me like a payoff or bribe.
10 years would be impossible unless she lied on her deposition
