Five months ago Joe Biden said in a debate that Barack Obama was not ready to be the president. Now he talks up Obama as if he is the second coming of Jesus. Was he lying then? Or is he lying now? OR IS HE NOT A PATHETIC AND PATHOLOGICAL LIAR?
There is a piece of Joe Biden's brain missing. It is the piece that deals with the value of truth. Truth does not carry much weight with Joe. Take his gaff last week about FDR going on TV to reassure the people when the stock market crashed in October 1929. He is an educated man and if someone asked him when the crash was, he could give the correct answer. Ask him when FDR became president and he could tell you he was elected in 1932. Ask him when TV came about and being of my generation I am sure he has early recollections of watching Howdy Doody in the late 1940's on his family's first TV. Yet he said, and you can't make this up, with a shit eating grin on his face, that when the crash came, FDR got on the TV and reassured the American people.
And what about this crap about being shot at on a visit to Afghanistan? It did not happen. Even John (the tree from the Wizard of Oz) Kerry joked about Biden's lie saying they were thinking of sending Joe Biden out to fight the war with snowballs. (Their helicopter was not shot at but forced down in a blizzard.)
And then there was his act of lifting British MP Neil Kinnock's speech word for word about being the first person in his family to go to college.
THE MAN IS A COMPULSIVE LIAR and to steal a line from the dems, he would be one heart beat away from the oval office.

The CBS News poll showed that Mr. Obama has a nine percentage-point lead over Mr. McCain — 49 percent to 40 percent. It is the first time Mr. Obama has held a statistically significant lead over Mr. McCain this year in polls conducted by CBS or joint polls by CBS and The Times. And a series of polls taken in highly contested states released by other organizations on Tuesday suggested that Mr. Obama was building leads in states including Florida, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

With the vice presidential candidates set to square off today in their only scheduled debate, public assessments of Sarah Palin's readiness have plummeted, and she may now be a drag on the Republican ticket among key voter groups, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.
In the new Post-ABC poll, Palin matches the Democratic vice presidential candidate, Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr., on empathy, one of McCain's clear deficits against Obama, while fewer than half of voters think she understands "complex issues."
About half of all voters said they were uncomfortable with the idea of McCain taking office at age 72, and 85 percent of those voters said Palin does not have the requisite experience to be president.
Well, Rod..it certainly is looking like you guys are in a bit of pickle now...while I admit, its still early in the game, the way its going is looking pretty good for the Obama/Biden ticket, regardless of how you feel. I'm surprised though that you would put up a post like this while most people feel that he's at least QUALIFIED to take the reigns. She's totally unqualified to lead this nation and its becoming more evident every time she opens her mouth.
