Questions for Pat Walsh

No, I'm not asking THE QUESTION OF THE SEASON, Where in New Jersey are Democrats doing a better job governing than Republicans are doing in Middletown and Monmouth County? in this post.

This post has more specific questions for Pat Walsh about her financial relationship with Cathy Sullivan and how it impacted her work on the Middletown Board of Education. Since Pat still has not responded to MoreMonmouthMusings correspondent JJ Sullivan's phone calls, I'll pose some questions here.

Since Walsh and Whatshisname are calling for greater transparency in government, it would make sense that she answer some simple questions.

1) Mrs. Walsh, you have stated publicly that you have sworn deposition transcripts that prove you repaid the $30,000 that Cathy Sullivan loaned you. We cannot find that deposition anywhere in the public record. Would you please provide us a copy?

2)Is $30,000 the entire amount given or loaned to you by Cathy Sullivan, her family or any business that her family has or did have an interest in?

3)Did or does Cathy Sullivan or any members of her family have an interest in any companies that have done business with the Middletown Board of Education while you have been a board member? If so, did you vote on these matters?

JJ and others a busy tracking down the answers to these and other questions that have been raised by Middletown residents. Hopefully, Mrs. Walsh will save us all time and just answer the questions without personal attacks or hyperbole.

I can hear nothing but crickets as we await these answers. Art, only a serious inquiry from law enforcement will be able to get any answers at this point.

I hope that someone will go to the Board of Ed meeting tonight and ask these questions. Middletown Mike finally posted the answer & questions from the dems press conference from last Monday. No questions from JJ, put plenty of crickets. As someone stated in an early post, maybe you can meet her behind the book case at tonights meeting.

Interesting that she won't return any of JJ's phone calls. I bet she did when he worked for the Caliendo Crier. Also, this is funny considering the dems criticize all GOP members for not speaking to the Caliendo Crier.

Hopefully I will be able to sign the recall petition at the BOE meeting tonight. Enough of Pat Walsh and her shady dealings already.

more questions for Ms. Walsh:

1. How much did your legal actions against the School Board cost the taxpayers (BOE hired another attorney, Robert S. Bonney to defend the Board from Ms. Walsh's legal action demanding the BOE reimburse her legal expenses).

2. You claim you paid the money back to the Sullivans. When did you pay this back and did you pay
any interest? Do you have copies of the canceled checks? Where did you obtain the money from to pay the Sullivans back?

3. What was the actual total cost of your legal fees involved with your hiring a personal attorney (Mr. Fagan) to prosecute Stokes and your defense attorney, Mr. Rubin)? Was it more than $30,000?
If so, how did you pay that back?

And who wouldn't be scared of the Democrats taking over Middletown? Remember the APP headline the last time they were in power? "A House in Disorder." Look at who comprises the core of the Middletown Democrats - Larry Loigman (former candidate, sued the town dozens of times), Irv Beaver (former candidate, convicted of damaging township property), Don Watson (plead guilty to disorderly conduct), Pat Short (falsified petitions), Joe Caliendo (administrator resigned citing "unreasonable political demands of Joe Caliendo"), Carolyn Schweibel (sued the township and a slew of other entities), and on and on. What a rogues gallery. And Pat Walsh with her big time ethics problems fits right in.
