Ridiculus.
We lost because of Republican infighting. Burry bad mouthing Curley. Curley attacking Republican Freeholders publicly.
As a result many republicans bullet voted.
Burry is completly a political animal only interested in her own reelection and Curly is a maniac. I would not have voted for either one of them but for the fact that control of the Board was at stake and Democratic control of the Freeholders was a worse option then those two.
Apparently the party still has some issues to work out.
I also am hearing that Beck ran curleys campaign. That worked out real well!
Art you used to do some good insider reporting on this stuff. Your exposing the jerks in our party improved it. But more work needs to be done.
We may have lost control but we can come back a stronger, cleaner more cohesive party.

Thanks. If you check the archives you will find that I didn't do that kind of reporting or opining during election season.

Clean up Middletown should be project # 1. The lowest, dirtiest campaign ever seen in this municipality. Maybe this is what we have to look forward to there. Win at any cost has it's fallout. Just watch and see !!! John Curley has shown dignity in all of this race. Lillian sacrificed him and we will now have a new Freeholder Director......was it worth it ????
