By midnight there will very likely have been over 102,000 unique visitors to MMM this year. That is hardly a huge number by Internet standards. However, if three years ago you told me that in 2008 I would have a blog with 102,000 readers, half of whom are returning regulars and 20% of whom stay for an hour or more per visit, I would have said, "What's a blog?"
Whatever your reasons are for visiting and re-visiting, thank you for giving me a voice that I never imagined I would have had.
2008 was full of surprises. May your 2009 be full of happier surprises.
