hahah..the translation is pretty funny..
I'm about the most conservative person I know on law and order type issues, but I'm even in the middle on the medical marijuana bill. The argument that it's for suffering people where medicine just doesn't work is a good one, considering the stoners will get marijuana the way they usually do anyway. If people are suffering with cancer or whatever else it may be, why not let them try alleviating the pain with marijuana?
If it was a decriminalization bill like lessening the fines or making a certain amount legal for all, I'd be leading the forces against it. Since it isn't and there are regulations set up for who it goes to in the bill, it's hard to agree that this will just make weed easier to obtain for potheads. They can probably get it cheaper from their dealers anyway..
And I'm someone who really dislikes potheads and thinks it is a gateway drug.
The only part I'm iffy about is enforcement and the giveaway of pot plants..I want to know how that'll be regulated.
