Christie, Levine and Lonegan: On The Record

GOP gubernatorial candidates Chris Christie, Brian Levine and Steve Lonegan appeared together on NJN's On The Record. Rick Merkt was traveling for business and did not attend.

The candidates performed very well. If the rest of the primary is conducted with this level of dignity, the GOP will be well positioned to defeat Corzine in November.

Well done gentlemen.

The program can be viewed here.

too bad: Rick Merkt is a very impressive candidate, who looks and sounds like the kind of gov. we need..sounds like he's not getting traction and so,might as well throw in with Steve, who's our best hope for victory over tyranny in "#50",the bottom of the barrel,"#1", top -of- the taxed, good old NJ..

I like Christie a lot. I think he has a proven record of demonstrating that he is very capable of making good decisions. Lonegan is too hot-headed and too right wing for this state...perhaps he's really a libertarian (which is a nice philosophy, but doesn't really mesh well in a society that has LAWS). Christie won me over long ago, but his response to the medicinal marijuana was very impressive to me. It's a very bad piece of legislation.
