A couple of things...first...at sixteen years old, she's a child, not a woman.
Second, this is not serious for all of the commentors. If the picture was not open to several interpretations, abc news, the same outfit that hosted the obama infomercial from the white house, would not have to be explaining it.
I haven't viewed the video you linked yet, but I can guess what it says...that Obama was turning to speak to the first lady who was behind the behind. That would be an obviously innocent explanation that any spinmister could weave. But not nearly as much fun to caption.
Lighten up Kathy.
Kathy Baratta is a highly intilligent and complex person. Yet at the same time she is rudimentary and left wing as they come. She used her post at a local weekly rag to trash and destroy people for years - allowing her personal views and family conflicts to get in the way. Ther puny and soineless editors were afraid of her and overlooked her slanted views because it was easier to do than that have to deal with her. Her own web site is a den of hate and anger where she rules the rootst with an iron fist, banishing those who disagree with her. She'll do wonders for your site because she attracts avid fools who will bring more viewership and traffic. Yet she will distract from any meaningful debate with her views and garble that will only annoy anyone with half a brain. Best bet is to ignore her which will drive her crazy (or more than she already is).

If you're going to blog I think the very least your readers can expect is that you remain well-informed based on facts not personal fancy. Which means viewing a video before deigning to comment on it.
BTW, how do you know she was sixteen. I have a lot of male friends and more than a few are "ass men" but I've yet heard one of them be able to pinpoint an exact age based on what they can see as she is walking away.

Turns out my guess about what was actually happening in that picture was generous toward the President. The woman behind him was not his wife. See, I don't "hate all things Obama."

Oh please Kathy, back to bashing Bush. So Obama got caught oogling, if that is what he was doing, so you defend him by bring up Bush's gesture to Merkel. Complete and utter nonsense.
I don't know you, but from your reptuation I would expect better from you than to justify what Obama may or may not have done than to justify it by telling us about your ass men friends and by Bush's earlier mistake.

Kathy Baratta is not Jim Purcell. Jim is not that bad a person to have that thrown in his lap. Kathy is a smart person. She is however dangerous as well. She has the capacity to be as mean spirited as they come. Her reporting in Manalapan and Howell speak volumes to who she is. She often injected herself into the story as opposed to just writing about it and reporting. She picked sides and had her personal feelings and views drip all over her reporting. Her bias and conflicts due to family employees working at the towns she was covering were an enormous conflict that followed her for years. Art, as usual, has called her out on her statements exposing her in one or two posts for what and who she is. Her editors choose to look the other way because she was to high maintenance to deal with and not worth the trouble (likely to sue, etc). They privately grinded their teeth over all the trouble she caused and cheered the day she "retired". Now the problem is she has even more time on her hands to troll the blogs and post on her own web site, over there www.shehatehowell.com. The real Obama comment in Obama's head was likely this:
President Obama: "let me check out this nice piece of ass and then have the libs like Kathy Baratta say I just had a "stiff" neck and was stretching it out and that it is was Bush and Cheney that gave me the stiff neck for reasons that are classified because they are related to national security, according to Nancy Pelosi".

I will continue to read your blog but given that you allow anonymous postings I will no longer participate except this one last time. As you can see from the anonymous postings I have quite a following. Too bad they're either insane, fools or scoundrels. That comes from being a staff writer for a newspaper. It stirs up all the crazies but worse are the liars. First of all, I have no relatives working for Manalapan, the town I covered for more than two years before retiring. Before that, it is true that I covered Howell before, during and after the time my son was hired as a Howell police officer. His promotion to Detective was well after I had stopped covering Howell for the newspaper and due solely on his being a decorated officer and obviously one of their best as his promotion to Detective proves. There will always be those whose shortcomings cause them to attack those who have actually accomplished something. I, as an award-winning journalist and my son as a several-times-over decorated police officer. Another big lie is my ruling my website with an iron fist. In the time I have owned howellnj.com I have banned only one person for reasons I do not wish to dredge up now. It is worth noting that the competing Howell website banned this same individual from their site as well. It is true I am a vigorous debater and if you want to verbally spar with me you had better come well-armed. That has presented a problem for some who are not up to the intellectual challenge and so they skulked off with their tails between their legs. I make no apologies. My standards are really very simple. Say whatever you want but be prepared to back up assertions with facts or state clearly that what you are asserting is your opinion and not an accredited fact. Maybe it's the journalist in me but I approach anything that doesn't come credentialed with a jaundiced eye. Anonymous? I don't bother with that at all. And does anyone believe for a minute that a major entity like Greater Media Newspapers was intimidated by me or rather that they were happy to have someone that brought the organization some of the most prestigious awards given by the New Jersey Press Association. It is precisely because I was never easily led down a garden path or lost in a maze of circular logic that these anonymous cowards and sycophants try to get away with lies fabricated from whole cloth.
Good luck to you Art. Sometimes it's hard to see the forest for the trees but you have to just keep keepin' on.

Speaking of Jim Purcell, where is he now that Councilman Joseph "Buddy" Mullaney has retracted his stance on "good clean government" in Matawan. Purcell in his then blog, "Bayshore Chumdigger" oops, Clamdigger, quoted Mullaney. Since March 2008 to present Mullaney changed his mind and hired an attorney or was it a case of Democratic "pro bono" work to prevent Matawan from voting on an Ordinance Prohibiting Elected Officials to perform Borough Work. If that doesn't speak volumes about Purcell and his slanted so called journalism and Mullaney's "good clean government."
