Corzine Switches Gears

With his negative ads failing, Jon Corzine has switched gears and released an ad full of Democrats saying nice things about him.

Unless I am mistaken, only one of the speakers is on the ballot this November.

Corzine better hope that none of those people get arrested between now and November.

UPDATE

Christie-Guadagno Campaign Manager Bill Stepien released the following statement regarding Jon Corzine's release of his first positive television ad of the general election:

"Since the start of the general election, it's been nothing but negative ad, after negative ad from Jon Corzine. Now after four misleading, attack ads in a row, Jon Corzine finally launches his first positive ad of the campaign and he doesn't say a word. Considering nearly 200,000 New Jerseyans have lost their job in the last year, unemployment keeps rising and we still have the highest tax burden in the country, it's no surprise Jon Corzine is at a loss for words."

This tape is a riot. Who was the rocket scientist who decided to have Ray Lesniak as a character witness. What's the matter, was Charles Kushner unavailable? And how long did it take you to stop laughing when Pascrell said, "If you're going to talk about the economy, I need specifics." Really? Is that why you voted for the 700,000,000,000 TARP bill without ever having read a word of it? And how about Rush Holt as a character witness. Rush Holt has never cast a vote not dictated by Frank Pallone. And who is Frank Pallone controlled by? How about certain developers one of whom was in the news last week. This may turn out to be one of the best ads yet FOR CHRISTIE.
