It is awful for the Governor to desperately hold onto power by scaring people."

Daily Record Editorial: "...the governor's assault on Christie's health insurance plan skews the truth so much that it does a disservice." (Editorial, "A battle over coverage for mammograms," Daily Record, 08/13/09)

This is the kind of crap that turns people off. The fact that CC's mom is a cancer survivor has nothing to do with the election. Plaything this kind of sympathy card doesn't sway real Republicans, and the bleeding hearts that fall for this crap ain't voting GOP. When will the GOP return to its base and stop trying to be dem lite?

Why did Jon Corzine and the Dems suddenly decide on mammograms and other mandates about three months before the election? That makes one thing clear - the mandates are simply a way of buying votes and doesn't represent a real policy.

There are a lot of people who want to buy health insurance only to cover very costly procedures and not things that they will have routinely. Why doesn't he mandate that insurance companies pay for prostate exams? The more mandates- the more insurance will cost.

I oppose Christie and his "mandate free" insurance. Mammograms should be mandated. Otherwise if you let people buy insurance without such protection, the rest of us will pay more.
