A Fairleigh Dickinson poll released this morning indicates that Jon Corzine leads Chris Christie in the gubernatorial race 44%-43%, with 4% of the respondents volunteering their preference for Chris Daggett and 5% undecided.
When the pollster offered Daggett's name he yielded 17%, with Corzine getting 38% and Christie at 37%. 77% say they have not heard of or have no opinion of Daggett.
When another Independent candidates name is substituted for Daggett's that candidate gets 12%.
The poll's margin of error is +/- 4%.

Lord help us.
That Christie would blow such a big lead this late in the game just underscores just what an incompetent candidate he is. He would be an even more incompetent governor. I'm certainly NOT voting for Chris Christie.

You wrote a while back that this could happen. Historically Jersy voters always break late. Now its just a get out the vote drive we must win!
I think Chrstie was a Corzine plant. I mean really how could you blow such a lead against such an unpopular Gov during a recession unless you intentially tried to lose.
If you have the time this could explain Daggett in this race .Dan Ariely asks, Are we in control of our own decisions? the video take about 17 min watch the illusions then the lead up to making irrational decisions ...by making illusions we make bad decisions ...CORZINE's campaign to a tea ! ..http://www.ted.com/talks/dan_ariely_asks_are_we_in_control_of_our_own_decisions.html#
out-of-touch, highly-overpaid consultants who swoop in here every 4 years, and arrogant, largely chauvinistic "party leaders" have loused things up for some pretty decent GOP candidates these past 4 cycles or so, for sure.. not to mention the ever-present and annoying "right vs. left" struggle within the GOP that always loses sight of the prize, while the D's do whatever it takes to keep their eye on the reality: win for the power at all costs, no matter how awful, like Bozo, "their guy" is!!..
