Quinnipiac: Christie Leads By 1%

A Quinnipiac poll released this morning indicates that the NJ gubernatorial race remains a dead heat.

Chris Christie leads Jon Corzine 41%-40% with Chris Daggett getting 14% among likely voters. The poll's margin of error is +/- 2.8%.

60% of Daggett's suppporters say they might change their mind. 40% of Daggett voters say that Christie is their second choice. 33% say Corzine is their second choice and the rest are either undecided or won't vote if they don't vote for Daggett.

77% of poll respondents said Daggett has no chance to win.

By a measure of 2-1, respondents said Corzine's anti-Christie mammogram ads are unfair, yet women still prefer Corzine over Christie by 44%-39%.
