HAITIAN RELIEF EFFORTS IN MONMOUTH COUNTY

During this time of crisis, Americans are looking for ways to help the people of Haiti. On Saturday January 23 a truck from Convoy of Hope will be at the Little Silver Fire Department on Prospect Ave. from 11am-3pm. Convoy of Hope has been in Haiti since the earthquake happened and will transport the items below to the needed areas.

In conjunction with this effort, Senator Jennifer Beck, Assemblyman Declan O’Scanlon and Assemblywoman Caroline Casagrande, along with Monmouth County Freeholder John P. Curley, would like to announce a supply pick-up at the Monmouth County Hall of Records in Freehold from 12 noon until 4pm to aid Convoy of Hope and ARMS in filling this truck.

Monetary donations are also needed. All checks must be made out to Convoy of Hope. Convoy of Hope is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Items needed include:

Toothbrushes

Toothpaste

Soap

Eye drops

Baby wipes

Powder

Baby Formula

Mouthwash

Deodorant

Shampoo

Combs

Hand Towels

Over the Counter First-Aid items

Over the Counter Medicines (Aspirin, etc)
