Concede defeat, carpetbagger, and go back to Rumson. The only way you and Halfacre will ever go to Washington is as a tourist.

Oxley, Kryrillos and Nelson should peddle their Rumson peaches somewhere else. The place on the ballot in the CD 6 is Anna's and the people will be better off because of it. Don't think Gooch has a clue about the job....just a rich dame with an ego....
Look they have to pay for it and it ain't gonna change anything so if it makes them feel better let them waste their time.
The rest of us can go to work getting Anna elected.
If Joe's re-elected chair tomorrow, and keeps Diane as Vice Chair, it would be a real show of both statesmanship and good sportsmanship, if Diane concedes to Anna, pledges her support to her, and stops the recount.. then, if she has all that recount money lying around, she could be magnanimous, and give half to Joe for the county campaign, and half to Anna to start her off well!!.. then, should Anna be unsuccesful in November, Diane'd have much more respect as an individual, and moral support and a leg up on anyone else, for next time.. it'd be a win-win for all, and a good beginning at re-unification: Diane: you want to be a leader, this is what a TRUE LEADER would do!
Does Diane think she can buy a few votes to make up the 84 difference? Diane do the right thing and wish Anna well, she has won fair and square. Better yet, put your money and support behind Anna because she is the candidate to beat Pallone.

After they lose the recount, they will go back to being a Pallone/Pelosi donor.

As a Little supporter I would have wanted her to request a recount if the situation were reverse. Fair is fair.
Kyrillos is hurt big time on this -BIG TIME
recounts are for large- turnout, general elections, where there are many paper absentees and provisionals.. Gooch's highly paid, crackerjack advisors and lawyers already know that fact, they are jerking her chain all the way to another paycheck to do this.. chances are slim to none, barring any funny business, that any of these counts are wrong and will result in a different result..therefore, good luck, "Congresswoman Little"!

Because Anna is one of the "little people" and doesn't have Gooch's wealth is the only reason she was denied the party line to begin with.Remember the fiasco when she was running for re-election as freeholder???
Oxley and ,Kryrillos follow the money and that lawyer of Gooch's can smell it regardless of which side he's on any given day of the week.
Anna has earned honestly the right to run. Go home Gooch and lick your wounds...maybe you have learned something. Money does not buy everything.

The election is over. Both sides ran as clean a campaign as I have seen. Yes sometimes individuals in both camps got a little over excited but the candidates behaved admirably.
While Mrs. Gooch will do what she wants to do and we can all try to convince her why she should do something different both sides need to stop denigrating each other.
The goal is taking out Frank Pallone not seeing how many pot shots we can take at one another.

Lets cut Dianne a little slack.
Its not easy to put yourself out their like she did. She deserves a lot of credit for being willing to do it. Further her advisors and the party bosses were telling her she would win no problem.
A lose like this is not an easy thing to take.
I doubt a recount will change anything and I would prefer it not take place. On the other hand I am not going to attack her for calling for one. If she needs that to get past this then let it happen just let it happen quickly.
I am more disturbed by the comments of her idiot campaign manager who is suggesting that the integrity of the voting process is some how tainted. That is just completly absurd. If this is what her advisors are telling Mrs. Gooch it is just another example of their incompetence. BTW when is the last time an election was overturned based on that type of allegation? I think it was never.
What do you really expect from that bunch ??
If there is anything tainted perhaps it's Mrs.Gooch's advisors and her legal team.
