The Well Is Plugged, For Now

Perhaps with help from an anonymous "lowly plumber", the oil well leaking millions of gallons of petrol into the Gulf of Mexico has been plugged, almost 3 months after the drilling rig exploded.

Bloomberg reports that BP is evaluating data from a pressure test to determine whether the well will remain sealed with its current fix. Coast Guard Commander Thad Allen said, "this isn't over" and that it "remains likely" that BP will have to reopen the well and collect 80,000 barrels of oil per day until the well can be permanently plugged.

This video by a vlogger (video blogger) known as RightChange reviews President Obama's performance during the crisis. Warning: Liberal MSNBC pundits Chris Matthews and Ketih Olberman are featured prominently in the video.
