Anna’s Army Tackles Matawan

Volunteer Corps nearly doubles in size

Highlands, NJ: In the second week of her ground game to songs like “The Marine Corps Hymn” and “Stars and Stripes Forever”, volunteer walkers numbering almost 50 for Republican nominee for Congress in New Jersey’s 6th District, Anna Little, made nearly 3,000 phone calls and knocked on over 1,700 doors in less than four hours this past Saturday in Matawan, NJ. Members of the Press are invited to witness and document Anna’s burgeoning volunteer effort in South Amboy this Saturday, August 7th. Details will be announced shortly.

Beginning the day at 8 a.m. at the Park Place Diner on Rt. 34, hundreds of invited constituents and curious passersby stopped by to hear Anna’s stance on the issues before volunteers fanned out across the town. Working in teams of 2 or 3, with more experienced volunteers now mentoring the nearly two dozen newcomers, “Anna’s Army” personally touched over 1,700 homes in Matawan in less than four hours. For those of you scoring at home, that’s over 400 homes per hour for four hours.

Growing by leaps and bounds on a daily basis, volunteers will be canvassing South Amboy in similar fashion this Saturday, August 7th and will begin the day at 8:30 am at a location to be announced shortly.
