Illions Finds A New Home

Conservatives with Attitude! founder Michael Illions has left the Republican Party and joined the New Jersey Conservative Party.

Illions had been a candidate for Middlesex County GOP Chairman. He is now the state Vice Chairman and Executive Director of the Conservative Party, which had 130 registered voters on Election Day 2009, according to Matt Friedman at Politickernj.

Good for him. I hope more New Jersey Republicans follow suit. The New Jersey Republican party is way too liberal for me.

What does this do to the Middlesex GOP? Did he have a following? Does anyone anticipate defectors?

tea partiers, Reps, Rinos, consevatives, et al: it will take every one of us to unite get past all these libs, communists, leftists, marxists, statists, and the rest of those on the dole who don't work or pay or contribute anything, to win, so, while it's great to have one's emphases and top principles, the main goal still must be: DUMP all the incumbents who are taxing and regulating our lives to death!!!
