Greg Bean, Executive Editor of Greater Media Newspapers and the man responsible to introducing the term
baconhead into the Monmouth County lexicon, writes about DaTruthSquad and Manalapan's tax payer funded attempt to secure daSquad's identity in his
CODA column this week.
My friend Jim Purcell tells me he recently had a conversation with Bean about bloggers, and that Bean thinks blogging is a fad that will go the way of bell bottoms and 8 tracks. Maybe Greg's right, but in the mean time, click on the link and give him a sense of the traffic blogs can bring to his web site. If he doesn't appreciate it, I'm sure his advertisers will.
Bean is always a good read. He has a great command of the language, and he knows a great deal about Wyoming.

Have you noticed, by the way, that the attorney in the middle of and approving this outrageous violation of first amendment rights, the attorney approving double dipping -- having two attorneys being paid for the same hour of work, one on an hourly fee and the other on a contingent fee, the attorney who was clueless about the tort claims act and the township's own indemnification ordinance, the attorney who thinks following a court order is legal malpractice, is none other than Caroline Casagrande, our newest assemblywoman. How much confidence do you have in our legislature now?
Hey Art- Casagrande said in that meeting she had absolutely nothing to do with the subpoena's being issued to ascertain the truth squad blogger and that she doesn't work on the case. But if you want to continue to spread the lies of the truth squad- I guess its at your own risk.
What's the difference between defamation and first amendment rights? Should we wait to hear what happens with the Rasta case?
The judge threw the Tort Claims Act argument out and said the indemnification clause was inapplicable monthes ago. But keep lying if it makes you feel better about the black and white malpractice action that the town had no choice but to take.
What's the difference between the lies on the Rasta and the lies constantly published on the truth squad- heavily promoted on this site?
Does the first amendment cover libel and slander?

Thanks for clearing that up. If true, I'm glad to hear it.

Looks like Casagrande's been busy writing comments for your blog to cover her rear. The judge said the issue of the tort claims act is a factual issue that must be determined on a motion for summary judgment. He said that if the defendant showed that he exercised discretion and didn't just do ministerial work on the matter, that the tort claims act covered him and the case will be thrown out. That's public record, as are all of Caroline's bills proving she's deeply involved in this case.
