Red Jersey's Eric Sedler has a great post about Dick Codey.
The affable and cunning Codey is perhaps the most powerful stumbling block to government reform in New Jersey. It was good to see the incoming Senate Dems take him down a notch when they elected South Jersey Senator Steve Sweeney Majority Leader.
Hopefully Sweeney and the new Republican minority Senators, lead by Tom Kean, Jr can work together to forward the needed reforms that Codey has been thwarting.

Thanks!
Sweeney doesn't have much of a reputation with reforms, but the south jersey dems tend to buck the north jersey ones from time to time.
The South Jersey Dems made the right move by going against Codey's choice of Sarlo as Majority Leader..that's for sure.
