I think the actual issue here is that women are still paid less than men.
Let's also note that, from this article, McCain employs more women than men: 30 women to 16 men, where Obama employs 31 women to 33 men. Gee, maybe it's because he has to pay females LESS than he would male. Women "require" less money than men, that's why they, more often than not, are hired over a man, in any position. Employers don't have to pay them as much.
I think McCain's being cheap, but hey - I'm only a woman, what do I know.
Sorry, one more - Then does that make his record of pay equality "better," Art?
You need to consider all the aspects of the situation. I think the fact that he employs nearly half the amount of women as he does men says a lot more than Obama's number.
I'd still like to think that somewhere out there in this big world we are stuck on, there is someone who is being paid based on their individual merit, not on the color of their skin and/or their gender.
I'd be more interested in seeing what kind of education/experience these people have (on both sides) and/or why Obama needs to have twice as many men as McCain has? There is a funny racial/stereotype joke in there somewhere but I'll let the reader figure that joke out themselves. :-)

"MMM is a great source of insider gossip and news in the conservative wing of the Republican Party and the Tea Party. I don’t agree with everything I read, but I keep taking a look- it is definitely entertaining. However, MMM would be better and could have far greater credibility if Art Gallagher didn’t display his biases quite so obviously and ran an unbiased forum for discussion.
