Mr. Pallone, Have you no decency?



Reminiscent of the darkest days of the Republican Party,the McCarthy era, Democratic windbag Congressman Frank Pallone wrote a post for Blue Jersey, Treason, condeming Governor Sarah Palin's nomination for Vice President because, "in the previous decade she was a member of a political party - the Alaskan Independence Party - that advocated a vote that would allow the secession of Alaska from the United States of America."

"In the previous decade" could be 18 years ago when Palin was 26 years old. I don't know when it was, or if it was, but given how Pallone wrote that, I'll bet it was before 1994. I am more offended by Pallone's remarks than I am by the disgraceful lies that the Daily Kos spread.

Pallone started his trash piece by saying, "It does not matter to me that her daughter is pregnant or that her husband received a D.U.I. nearly 30 years ago. All families go through struggles in their personal lives and should be able to do so with a level of privacy and respect." Then why even mention those things Frank? What a low life.



Pallone quotes a great Republican President, the first, Abarham Lincoln to justify his treason headline, "In a message to Congress on July 4, 1861, President Abraham Lincoln said about attempts by the Southern States to secede that, "the States have their status in the Union, and they have no other legal status. If they break from this they can only do so against law and by revolution." "

Let me refer the congressman to a message from Congress on July 4, 1776. Thomas Jefferson wrote, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

I don't know if Palin belonged to the Alaskan Independence Party or if Pallone is making up lies like the Daily Kos did. If Palin did belong to that party as a twenty something young woman, so what? It is about as relevent as James Welch being a Communist or a homosexual.

Does Palin's voter registration "in the previous decade", which could have been 18 years ago, negate what she has accomplished this decade or what she stands for today?

I think not.

We all know where Frank Pallone has been for the last 18 years. He's not the same conservative Democrat we sent to Washington, not by a long shot. Never mind he's acquired leftists leanings. He's not even a decent man any longer.

Now that Pallone has put patriotism back on the table, let's take a closer look at Barack Hussein Obama and his ties to domestic and international terrorists. Let's dig deeper into his relationships with Wright, Farrakhan, Castro and Hamas.

I think the worst part of the whole thing is it was an unfounded rumor that turned out to be completely false.

Too bad Pallone never reacted with as much fire and quickness to Fort Monmouth closing as he did to this unfounded rumor...

Maybe then he'd actually get something done down there in DC.

Here's an excerpt from an article in todays NYTimes...tell me how this type of "reform" would be good for the country..and for our Constitution. Eight years of an administration that doesn't adhere to the Constitution is quite enough....

"Shortly after becoming mayor, former city officials and Wasilla residents said, Ms. Palin approached the town librarian about the possibility of banning some books, though she never followed through and it was unclear which books or passages were in question.

Ann Kilkenny, a Democrat who said she attended every City Council meeting in Ms. Palin’s first year in office, said Ms. Palin brought up the idea of banning some books at one meeting. “They were somehow morally or socially objectionable to her,” Ms. Kilkenny said.

The librarian, Mary Ellen Emmons, pledged to “resist all efforts at censorship,” Ms. Kilkenny recalled. Ms. Palin fired Ms. Emmons shortly after taking office but changed course after residents made a strong show of support. Ms. Emmons, who left her job and Wasilla a couple of years later, declined to comment for this article.

In 1996, Ms. Palin suggested to the local paper, The Frontiersman, that the conversations about banning books were “rhetorical.”

So what Art? Banning books just because you don't like the content? How is that the American way. This story has been vetted...apparently unlike Sarah Palin.

There's also an article on MSNBC that shows her husband was a member of the AIP. Where's your info on that one? Last time he registered with them was in 2000. He switched in 2002 to independent, but he was still a member. Is that not relevant? Why is Obama's associations relevant, but not hers. Its her husband, not someone that she has some light contact with.

You apparently have not read your cousins rants...just posted them up, I guess. If you did, you would know that Steve Lonegan looks like a liberal compared to him.

To make a credible point you might want to not cite the New York Times.

They make Daily KOS seem credible and fair.

The day they go after a liberal with as much fury as they did going after Sarah Palin is the day Hell freezes over.

I loved reading their apology to Palin for getting the political party thing wrong. O wait..they didn't apologize..but hey at least they retracted it.

That's better than Purcell...(I had to!)

You say that as if it is a bad thing Rick.

Have you ever met Lonegan? Had a conversation with him? Read anything his books? Or are you just going by the media reports of him?

Where is that open mindedness you're always calling for Rick?

You're still bobbing at apples that few peope (and only people on your side of the fence) seem to actually care about.

You want to go back to the past? Let's find out more about Senator Obama and his ties with Ayers and Rezko. Where's the media reporting on that?!

Admit it, you're just upset because our ticket will reform Washington and change the culture of corruption there while your ticket bring MORE OF THE SAME.

By the way I love it when Obama lists the "landmark" ethics bill he worked on with Coburn as an accomplishment. That bill would give ideas to NJ democrats on how to write half assed ethics bills. Mike Panter would be impressed.

-Lawmakers can no longer SIT DOWN and eat with lobbyists. So now they just stand up.

-Lawmakers can no longer use a fork and knife for eating. So now Restaurants just offer finger foods or their own "food in a spoon".

This is part of what ABC was uncovering in that clip where Lautenberg said it was "his duty" to go to these lavish gatherings with lobbyists.
