Sarah Palin requited herself very well in her interview with ABC's Charlie Gibson.
Gibson asked tough questions and he should have. Palin responded well and skillfully avoided the traps designed to produce headlines that Gibson laid.
What bothered me about the interview when I first saw it on ABC's website, was that ABC was showing more of Palin's legs than her face. Palin is answering questions and ABC shows a profile shot of her and Gibson, with Palin's legs center shot.
I don't recall prolonged sitting profile shots of any male candidate for any office, particularly while the candidate is speaking. Ever see such a shot of Hillary Clinton? Never.
Palin has nice legs, but aren't we really more interested in getting to know who she is, what she stands for, how she thinks? Especially in her first unscripted appearance before the world?
Charlie Gibson needs a new producer.
