Why is it that the Monmouth Democrats don't seem to think ELEC rules apply to them?

After being caught not even filing their 2005 year end report and then dumping a candidate for doing the same thing, Monmouth County Demorcrats are still playing fast and loose with campaign finance.

Barry Goldwater reports that the Monmouth County Democratic party made $7,200 in in kind contributions to their 2008 Freeholder candidates' account, $4200 of it before the account was opened, and then the candidates failed to report the contributions.

This, after candidate Amy Mallet had her six figure debt from her failed 2003 Assembly race taken over (has it been paid?) by Trenton Democrats.

Of the $7,200 contributed to the Freeholder candidates' campaign committee was $1,200 for a photo shoot. $1,200 for a photo shoot! Were there special effects involved? Is there something special about these photos? The law library in the background is a nice touch, considering neither of them are lawyers.

They can't even handle their own money, why should be give them control of Monmouth County and our money?

Does anyone know of anyplace in New Jersey where Democrats are doing a better job governing than Republicans are doing in Monmouth County?
