Will we be protesting the failure of the GOP Freeholders to support pay cuts?

We would be if that is what they had done.

They voted against the D'Amico budget not because of the pay cuts, but because it included the wasteful Youth Detention Center.

Nice try though.

Ah yes,and that wasteful Youth Detention Center was not wasteful in 2008, or 2007 or 200....

yes, the YDC has gotten more wasteful, as the "children" population has steadily declined, along with the building itself: it is now simply NOT a cost-effective way to house the little darlings and pay for all the required services, at that bldg., and the R's know it, but the D's are stuck on it, for their various, senseless reasons.. it's fine, whatever, along with their search- and- destroy, change- for-the -sake- of -change "new direction," so, they're going down, but not soon enough ..

amazing with a straight face people can excuse the GOP for not closing the YDC in December but slam the dems for not doing it in February, then excuse the GOP for not cutting 7 million in excessive payroll during a recession. These politicians are all hacks.
