This rumor has been floating around for a while.

With my tin-foil hat firmly in place... such a story does make me wonder if all of the Frank Pallone attacks on Christie have been in an effort to see how Pallone would stack up state-wide against Christie?

Just my $0.02, before the tax-man gets them.

Frank Pallone would be the best thing in the world for Chris Christie. Do you have any idea how easy it would be for the anti-corruption candidate to go up against one of the dirtiest politicians in a very dirty state. Don't let Pallone's sissy boy demeanor fool you. He is bought and paid for by Hovnanian and the pharmaceuticals. It's not an accident that he is so well-funded, or that he was made the head of the dccc a few years ago. There's plenty there for Christie to expose. I think even the Democrats are too smart to not know that.
