Save The Date: Saturday, August 22 Noon

Many of the original groups behind TaxDayTeaParty.com are joining together for the Nationwide Recess Rally. This is a collaborative effort to make it known that we will not stand for socialized, government controlled healthcare.

The Nationwide Recess Rally takes place on Saturday, August 22nd, 2009. If you believe your liberty, your hard earned money and your way of life is under attack through dangerous healthcare legislation currently being proposed, get to your local Representative office on August 22nd and make sure he/she knows.

no matter where you are on the spectrum, NOW is the time to WAKE up and fight for the future of our freedom- we have NO one to blame but ourselves, if we don't for once unite, and push back this disaster!..learn and feel what power we have had all along while we just let it go on for far too long..it's breaks-time, America!- put them on now..let these arrogant creeps HEAR us, they are nowhere without us, our money and our votes!.. let them see what will befall in 2010,if they don't LISTEN to us!.. so,get busy folks, it's not too hard if we each do a small bit!..(brother, you know how bad it has become in 7 short months, when Bubba starts looking like an actual American!).. God helps us when we help ourselves,so, call, e-mail, write, picket, do SOMETHING before the brown shirts get us!....

Here is the problem. We may defeat Obamas master plan but the politicians dems and republicans both will go back to making incremental changes that just keep gumming up the system.
What we have to work on is convincing the public that the government should not be in the healthcare business at all.
Want reforms
less stupid regulation. how much do you thionk HIPPA compliance has added to the cost of health care. Was privacy of medical records such a huge problem taht we needed a whole new regulatory scheme to burden doctors with. Thats one example.
States need to stop mandating what coverage insurance policies provide. Let the free market work and there would be a wide range of policies available at different prices.
The more health care government pays for the more it costs.
I repeat get government out of the business of providing health care and prices will come down.
