Why do all you republicans, conservatives, tin foil antenna people make this out to be something sinister? Why can't it be just a civics lesson given by a former College Professor who just happens to be the President of the United States and a father that has two school age children. What is with you guys????
We've been watching him ruin our country for the last 8 months. Our worst fears our coming true. Thank God "the people" are waking up and pushing back.
George W. Bush spent 8 years destroying this country.
The Obama Administration is working hard to undo Mr. Bush's disastrous policies. There is a reason why Democrats have big majorities in both houses - because the Democrats are in touch with the American people, not the far right-wing loons like yourself Art.
Obama's fine and his numbers are fine...I mean they're not 24% like Bush but you defended him all the way so you must have been apart of that 24%
Keep spewing your garbage while Democrats keep winning the national battles vital to move this country forward.
Let's see Art, for the first 7.5 years of the Bush administration we had low inflation, low unemployment, record high stock market and record treasury revenues - even after the hit we took on 9/11. We were safe at home with many terrorist operations destroyed or disrupted. Then, in 2006, the Dems take control of Congress and what happens? The economy goes south. Remember Barney Franks calling Republicans "wacists" for wanting to rein in the insane lending policies to unqualified people? Well, he sure showed them, didn't he? Now, the market is down, tax revenues are down, unemployment is up, spending is out of control, debt is astronomical, private companies are being nationalized, the Taliban is emboldened by our weak "community activist-in-chief" and the Dems think that THEY are in touch with the people? Give me a friggin break.
Aon ...your right " There is a reason why Democrats have big majorities in both houses" - So why can't they just pass the ill advised health care ? they don't need not one Republican vote ! Because Obama has a agenda and people are waking up to it !

"More Monmouth Musings is a must-read. Art Gallagher skillfully covers local, state and national affairs and his blog is a definite stop on the daily news round up. A respected conservative, Art knows when to question conventional wisdom and his guest commentators provide an array of opinions on everything from the State House to the school board." ~ Senator Joe Kyrillos

"MMM is a great source of insider gossip and news in the conservative wing of the Republican Party and the Tea Party. I don’t agree with everything I read, but I keep taking a look- it is definitely entertaining. However, MMM would be better and could have far greater credibility if Art Gallagher didn’t display his biases quite so obviously and ran an unbiased forum for discussion. " ~ Mickey Gooch, Mickey Gooch
