Codey Looking To Deal With GOP Senators

Save Jersey is reporting that Senate President and sometimes Governor Dick Codey is seeking to make a deal with the GOP Senate caucus to retain the Senate Presidency. Codey reportedly is offering half the committee chairmanships in exchange for the 17 GOP votes. South Jersey Senator Steve Sweeney, who is challenging Codey for the senate presidency, announced yesterday that he has secured 14 of the 23 Democratic votes, which would give him the prize, barring a cross party deal.

Tom Kean, JR's caucus should take the deal, but only if Mary Jo Codey does a mammogram ad for Chris Christie.

take the deal!..maybe we'd get a decent bill to reduce a few taxes posted, for a change, instead of the ongoing rape of our dollars each session!.. we're starting to throw the one chance for change and the mansion in years away, anyhow, (nice job, Mike and Bill-not!)with another unfocused, non-message campaign that totally wastes Kim G.. the Bozo mammogram- outrage needs to be answered only by Kim and Mary Pat, to wake up the white women!..meanwhile, Sweeney as Sen. Pres.is a total disaster: if you think the unions run NJ now, wait til this union Pres./boss gives prevailing wages to every single service contract governments enter into: yes, the non-profits, food service folks, etc., like the construction titles: it only means more, higher outrageous contract prices for the taxpayers to pay for goods and services: this state is a few votes away from broke-Calif.,anyway- it's sick, plain and simple: and these jerks are worrying about bylaws for the parties??!!stop!!......
