Tomorrow morning at the Middlesex County Vocational High School in East Brunswick Republicans will choice the congressional candidates who will have the party line for the June primary for the nominations to challenge Rush Holt who was ranked the most liberal member of congress by The National Journal and Frank Pallone, the architect of Obamacare.
Competing in the 12th district to challenge Holt is an inexperienced, pro-choice candidate with a history of donating to liberal Democrats like Chuck Schumer who is self funding his campaign with his Wall Street wealth and a pro-life small town mayor with a history of cutting taxes and spending.
Competing in the 6th district to challenge Pallone is an inexperienced, pro-choice, inarticulate socialite who does not live in district and who is funding her campaign with her husband's Wall Street wealth and a pro-life small town mayor with a history of cutting taxes and spending.

Let me correct you Art Gallagher.Scott Sipprelle is an inexperienced only to the extent he has not held public office.He has proven experience in being,like you Art, a success in the free enterprise world.He is one of the good guys of Wall Street.Art,you have never held public office.Does that mean you have would not be a good person to serve in government.John McCAin was a soldier before he served in government.Would you be bashing John for his lack of experience??(And when America can turn its back on a hero ,America deserves the Obama it got)Scott is a credible candidate who made his living successfully in the free enterprise system,like yourself.

Good point. That sad thing is that there are people who actually think 1. Being an experienced politician is a plus. 2. Being a successful in the private sector is bad. 3. That the voters think incumbency is a plus. Did they ever hear of GRIP. Whe need less political hacks and more public servants. FYI a public servant is not someone who gets paid to serve.

Boy, Art, you've really let your baises show here. First of all, it is highly questionable that Halfacre is pro-life (as you claim). His flip-flop on the abortion issue has been covered extensively elsewhere. Moreover, I don't know that characterizing Sipprelle as "pro-choice" is accurate. Sipprelle has stated that he is personally opposed to abortion and opposes taxpayer funds being used for abortion, but does not favor making abortion illegal (abortion couldn't be made illegal anyway in light of Roe v. Wade and subsequent Supreme Court deciisons). Secondly, your claim that Sipprelle is "inexperienced" is absurd. Sipprelle has been highly successful in the private sector. His experience is precisely the kind of experience we need in Congress at the moment. It is Halfacre who lacks the private sector exerience we need in our candidate. You also claim that Sipprelle is "self-funded." It will be interesting to see who has been able to raise more money when Sipprelle and Halfacre make their disclosures in a few weeks. My bet is that Sipprelle will have raised a lot more money than Halfacre.
