Christie Nominates Anne Murray Patterson To Supreme Court

Governor Chris Christie, in keeping with his campaign promises to reshape the New Jersey Supreme Court away from judicial activism, will not grant tenure to Justice John Wallace. Christie nominated Anne Murray Patterson, a former Deputy Attorney General to the court.

Steve Lonegan's Americans for Prosperity issued a statement praising the nomination and declaring what a wonderful world it will be when the court interprets the law rather than creating law.

State Senate President Steve Sweeney is broken hearted that his friend Wallace will not remain on the court, and that he is not going to get his income tax increase from Christie.

Murray Patterson is thrilled with the nomination and that she's needed on the court.
