Hmmmm, Not Quite A Concession, But It Makes You Think

If the CD-6 results hold up for Anna Little, Mickey and Diane Gooch will save a ton of money that would have been spent on the general election campaign.

Last week I was on the verge of writing a post, "Save The Rumson Fireworks, Vote for Anna", but decided against it. The Rumson 4th of July Fireworks, which are synced with the Red Bank Kaboom! fireworks were cancelled a couple of weeks ago because the Rumson Endowment was $30K short in their fundraising efforts to cover the cost. There were rumors that the Gooches had cut back on their fireworks generosity, but I could not confirm them.

Low and behold! Today, RedBankGreen has the news that the money has been raised and the show will go on.

I'll bet $5 that Tony Angelini has a "no comment" for that.

yup, now, show us what you're really made of, Team Gooch: if it holds for Little, will you step up and help Anna to to do what you said was your goal: defeat Pallone, or will you walk away, taking your ball, marbles, time, and money with you?.. inquiring minds need to know, as it will speak volumes as to your sincerity and clarity of purpose, all along!

Having seen her her commercials, I know how deeply Diane Gooch cares about her neighbors in the nearby Sixth C.D., so should Anna prevail, I am absolutely positive that Gooch and her husband will donate as much to the Little campaign in the general as Gooch would have spent on her own. After all, it's not like Diane was trying to buy herself a seat or anything like that.
