Terrible timing. Many women will be home preparing for Thanksgiving.

Sorry Son of Liberty, but I think it is time to move on and look to the future. I think this is the Lonegan who is standing up against higher taxes, unconstitutional debt, and who can beat Corzine as he did last year when he led the effort to defeat the ballot questions.

I hope (as do most of the people I talk to), Lonegan gets in the race for governor. He is the only one talking any sense when it comes to taxes, spending, the size of government, and the fiscal issues, and the only one talking about doing something about it. That is what we have to focus on if we want to win , and Lonegan is the only one out there with any credibility on those issues.

My point is he does not have any credibility.
Don't just listen to what people say look at what they do.

No credibility? Look at what they do? OK, let's do that.

Have you looked into his record when he was a mayor? He cut spending his first year, held property taxes down and spending essentially flat (and lowered debt) over 12 years, even while Trenton was imposing more mandates upon local governments. He was a tough negotiator and didn't cave in to the unions. He had enough credibility to get elected to three terms as mayor in a Democrat town. That seems like someone who is doing what they talk about and that translates into credibility on those issues.
