"Wally Edge" the anonymous blogger and founder of Politickernj is leaving the website that lead the way of new media covering NJ politics and grew into a recognised legitimate media outlet.
Former Livingston Mayor David Wildstein, the true identity of "Wally Edge, has taken a management position with the Port Authority of NY/NJ, according to a report in the Star Ledger.
Wildstein, who at age 23 became the youngest Councilman and Mayor in Livingston history in 1984 and managed several statewide, congressional, countywide and legislative campaigns for the Republican Party, made a tremendous impact on NJ government and politics in his 10+ years writing under the moniker of the former NJ Governor.
In addition to breaking news and insider gossip, Wildstein shared an authoritative knowledge of New Jersey history with his readers.
We wish Mr. Wildstein well at the Port Authority and will miss his work at Poltickernj.
