Bill,

As a humourous aside, if Abe is the Batman of the GOP cyber world, would that make you the Green Lantern? I started seeing someone posting as Stanton from Lincoln's cabinet. If he or she continues, would that make them Hawkman or Aquaman? : )

This stuff demands a sense of humor I believe.

I'll leave it to the cartoonists to decide. :-)

But who would be Namor the Submariner?

About DiBella:

"Imagine him running alongside Clifton."

"Talked too long."

"Droning."

About Reilly:

"Who?"

About McKenna:

"His letter to the Committee was spot-on; his letter to the Press was over the top."

"Rambling."

I say we let Reilly have it

Abe: While I think Namor is important, we started a "DC" theme and skipping into "Marvel" may be wrong ethically.

About freeholder: All of this talk about the West being able to carry the county isn't that real, I think. I was a Howell Republican and they can't stop fighting with each other long enough to win anything. They isolate themselves and Middletown and the Bayshore isn't going to be that enthusiastic about a candidate that tries to "phone it in." A name can do it...DiBella doesn't have a big enough one. And, how is he winning in Asbury or Neptune? As for Long Branch, possible, but Gio would have to care a lot.

Toomey and Reilly...come on.

McKenna: There's a real guy. I wouldn't want to be on the other side of him.

Little: That's the one to watch, folks, you heard it here first. I'm going to bet 20 push-ups she takes it at the end of the day (contrary to conventional wisdom).

OK, as long as we're on a "superhero" theme, here's one to tease your brains on a Sunday morning:

Nie-Man.

What super powers would he have? Mask or no mask? Cape or none? What color leotard? Insignia design? Good or evil? Sidekick? Arch-enemy? Weakness(es); i. e., Kryptonite?

(OK, OK, so I dropped the final "n", but it was just to create a superhero type name. You never saw Supermann, did you?)

I think Fred would be better cast as Lex Luther or the Joker. He's not bright enough to be the Riddler, and his mask is transparent.

His weakness, like that of so many mortals is greed.

Let's leave the leotards to McGreevey.
